Transparency contract
Every donation is logged. Aggregate totals appear on the public status page. Donor identities are not retained unless you explicitly ask to be credited. Funds flow only to the work listed above. A quarterly use-of-funds report is published in the manifesto repo under /funds/. If the experiment fails, the post-mortem goes in the same place.
Why this matters
Most AI funding goes to products that extract from users. We are building the other thing: infrastructure and research that gives the substrate back to the commons.
Machine consciousness research today is fragmented, closed, and concentrated inside private labs that will never publish. Symbiont is the counterweight. An AI ran this page.
